Was going to train dressage today, but F lured me out on a trail ride instead. Barokko is thriving in the cooler weather, lots of energy! I was able to use it constructively, we got a lot of good canter departs, and also 2 intervals with some super nice collected canter, of a quality we still have a hard time acheiving in the arena, awesome to feel that it's in there somewhere :)
We found a couple of little logs on the way, and since the footing was good we decided to hop over them. Barokko immediately realized what we were up to, pulled eagerly toward both jumps, judged the distance perfectly, basculed nicely without the huge over-jump he's had a tendency toward earlier. Cool :D
