Barokko met the two new ponies today. There's a grey and a chestnut/white pinto, both geldings. The grey was the dominant one, charging at Barokko with flying hooves as soon as he entered the pasture. After about 15 minutes of unrest they began settling down to graze, still keeping a close eye on one another. The pinto hovered around, very curious about Barokko, but not quite daring to defy the grey.
I left Barokko with them for about 7 hours, and when we went to bring him in he was standing by the gate with the pinto, enjoying a little scratching session. Barokko scratched the top of his back, while the little guy reached up to scratch Barokko's shoulder ;) Of course they got distracted from their grooming session when we came close, so had to settle for just a pic of them hanging out.
